About ILSI Nepal

A neutral, multidisciplinary platform producing and sharing evidence for the public good.

About ILSI Nepal

ILSI Nepal is a nonprofit, science-driven platform for nutrition, food safety, food systems, public health and sustainability in Nepal. It convenes scientists from academia, government, healthcare, research institutions and the responsible private sector in a neutral forum, and it produces and shares evidence for the public good.

ILSI Nepal draws on the mission and operating principles of the global ILSI federation: science for the public good, multidisciplinary collaboration, transparency, scientific integrity, and no lobbying or advocacy. Every scientific activity has a primary public purpose, and funding sources and conflicts of interest are disclosed.

About the global ILSI federation

The International Life Sciences Institute (ILSI) is a global nonprofit founded in 1978 and based in Washington, DC. ILSI advances evidence-based science on nutrition, food safety and sustainability for public health, and operates through nonprofit entities worldwide under shared mandatory policies and scientific-integrity principles. In 2018 ILSI restructured into a federation of entities with public and private sector members. ILSI owns the peer-reviewed journal Nutrition Reviews.
